Wai Leong Chan

Wai Leong was a founding partner of a boutique firm operating across Asia Pacific acquired by Eric Salmon & Partners.

He started his search career at Spencer Stuart where he led regional technology searches based out of Singapore while also co-leading the regional supply chain practice.

Prior to his career in search, he was a regional VP at SAP and Managing Director for Singapore. He was also VP for Strategy & Business Development at Gateway Computers, where he served a stint as MD for Australia. Earlier, he was a consultant at Booz Allen & Hamilton, where he worked across Asia Pacific and at Strategic Planning Associates, when he lived in Washington, D.C. for two years doing work across the United States.

Wai Leong was an independent board director at Interplex Holdings Ltd, a global precision engineering company listed in Singapore. He is also a board member and chair of the Nominations Committee at AWWA (a voluntary welfare organization). He graduated from Cornell University on a Singapore Airlines scholarship with MBA and M.Eng. degrees and has been a two-term member of the Cornell University Council.
