Before joining Eric Salmon & Partners, William Mosseray was a Principal with Empact, a Brussels-based consultancy focusing on company transformation. He served customers mainly in the finance sector.
Prior to that, William spent 17 years with Belgacom Group, the leading telecom and ICT player in Belgium, 8 of which as a member of its executive committee. During his Belgacom tenure, William has built an extensive track record in dealing with company transformation challenges at executive level. His most recent positions include CEO of Telindus International (the international ICT activities of Belgacom), EVP Strategy and EVP Human Resources, alongside with board chairmanships and memberships of Belgacom subsidiaries in Belgium and abroad. His earlier responsibilities within Belgacom include project leadership positions related to company reorganizations, new product launches and cost reduction programs. He also held various field positions for Ameritech, a Belgacom shareholder, in Chicago, USA.
William started his career with law firm Allen & Overy in Brussels and Zürich. He served Belgian and European corporate customers for their company law, tax law and M&A needs.
William is a Belgian national who has lived in Belgium, the USA and Switzerland. He received a law degree from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, followed by a MBA from the Vlerick Leuven Ghent Management School and a postgraduate degree in tax law from ICHEC in Brussels. He later followed the Stanford Executive Program at the Graduate School of Business of the Stanford University in California.
