The German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) is raising alarm. For each entrepreneur looking for a successor, there were only 0.8 prospects last year. Six years ago, it was still 1.7 potential successors, according to the DIHK report on business succession 2016. Furthermore, the demographic change is causing negative effects.
