Raffaella Rao is part of Eric Salmon & Partners’ Consumer Practice, based in Milan. With almost 25 years’ experience in executive search, Raffaella brings expertise in advising entrepreneurial, family-controlled companies, where people and culture must be carefully aligned to strategy.

What distinguishes Raffaella as leadership advisor is her capability to select people who make a difference thanks to individual DNA, interests, story, and human-touch on top of their professional biographies.

Prior to join Eric Salmon & Partners, she spent 14 years with Signium -the Human Capital Division of GC Governance Consulting. As a Partner of their Milan office, she led executive search assignments, executive assessments as well as non-executive director searches and board performance reviews. Active in executive search since 1998, she began her path at Russell Reynolds Associates as a Research Associate then moved to Heidrick & Struggles International, where she spent 8 years as Senior Associate involved in many cross-border projects within different industries. In her capacity as Project Leader of the Young Talent Observatory, she built an international High Pot talent pool in the consumer sector.

An Italian national, Raffaella graduated in Corporate Law at L.U.I.S.S. International University in Rome. She also has a master diploma in Human Resources Management from Cattolica University of Milan.
