Ilaria’s background with responsibility for the Italian large corporate sector in international and Italian firms has forged her ability as trusted advisor in the industrial and financial space. Her experience as board member in various institutions has also defined her skills in corporate governance and D&I-related initiatives.

Before joining Eric Salmon & Partners, Ilaria was Head of Large Corporates at Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, and served as Board Member for SACE S.p.A., Simest S.p.A., CDP Equity, FSI Investimenti S.p.A. and Fondo Italiano d’Investimento SGR.

Her previous roles include Head of NatWest activities in Italy. She spent 18 years as part of the former ABN Amro, then Royal Bank of Scotland / Natwest Group, starting her career as Head of Corporate Debt Capital Markets for Italy and progressively moving to a wider role as responsible for the Corporate business.

Ilaria was Head of DCM for UBM in Milan, coming from a five-year experience as Fixed Income Analyst in the Research Department of Caboto SIM.

After graduating with honours in Political Sciences at Alfieri University in Florence, Ilaria completed her Master in Economics at Bocconi University in Milan, and obtained her MSc degree in Finance (LBS/Bocconi) during her early working years.
